Del Val PT Cruisers 2005 Charity of Choice Is....

 The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

I as the founder, of Del Val PT Cruisers, have chosen this charity this year for a very personal reason.

I  lost  my Grandfather, at a very young age to Leukemia.

I also chose this charity because one of our very own battles from Lymphoma everyday. This member has been very active long before this club was born. She is the one who introduced me to the PT Cruiser World.  She is the one who gave me the courage to take my ideas about this club and run with them. She is also one who is there at every event encouraging me to keep it going. She is the one who is always making sure all of you are having fun. She is the one who is making people laugh. She is the one who is always thinking of the next time we meet. She is the one who makes "secret" donations.  She is the one who is thinking of, and going out of her way to help those in need. She is the one who is at her local Cancer Center at the change of the holidays, decorating for the next. She is the one who is making a difference in our lives and the lives of many others.
She is the one you know as Betty Boop or BeBe. She is the one I know as Mom. 
Without her we would have never made so many "PT friends"!

In addition we also have a very dear member, Terry Pius, who's brother is battling Leukemia. Unfortunately he has been hospitalized since Thanksgiving of 2004. He has been through every worse side effect possible during his treatment. Not to mention the time with his 6 year old daughter.
